DDS-3 Combat UAV
The DDS-3 is a tactical, long-range loitering munition with advanced strike and reconnaissance capabilities. Designed for dual-purpose missions, it integrates precision attack and reconnaissance roles for operational versatility.
It has a warhead optimized for kamikaze-style strikes, an autonomous/remote-controlled navigation system, and advanced electro-optical sensors that perform effectively even in low-light conditions. The DDS-3 frame, developed with aerospace-grade radio-transparent composite materials, low radar cross-section (RCS), and reduced acoustic signature, gives it an advantage in evading radar detection.
The DDS-3 is specifically designed to engage ground-based equipment and other key targets at the front and behind enemy lines, delivering effective strikes in complex operational scenarios. The communication systems are equipped with robust defenses against radio-electronic warfare, ensuring secure and reliable communication in contested environments. The navigation and control systems support autonomous operations as well as remote control. Thus, it makes this UAS good for counteracting electronic warfare (EW) and anti-aircraft defense systems.
Capable of targeting ground assets, armored vehicles, and radar installations, effective for suppression of enemy air defenses (SEAD).
