The BDS-20 is classified as a tactical, long-range UAV with reconnaissance capabilities. It has a payload capacity of up to 3kg and is equipped with a 3-axis gimbal, which includes a 30X optical zoom electro-optical (EO) sensor and a 4X digital zoom thermal sensor, as well as a radio retranslation.
